The reception of the Chinese-born artist Weihong in Mexico is highly meaningful. As her work opens a channel for reflection, a bridge is drawn, not only of expectation, but also experiential regarding to the Eastern thinking and its availability and matching with Western thinking. A relationship that the artist herself explores on her trip to this country when arousing both views, which, alongside with her Mexican host, merges into a single view. 

Accompanied by artists and curators Mafalda Budib, Tania Villanueva and Rocio Del Toro, Weihong invites the people of Mexico to participate in her tea ceremony, welcoming all at her installation to open the lecture of both homelands and cultures: perhaps she comes to tell us with this performance, to awake and to remember how we should value our actions, estimating social coexistence. A replication of ancestral rituals of meeting and celebration,  and depicting a vertex where every culture is recognized and honored.

Words can limit when making tangible certain experiences, specific meditations, or mind abstractions; Tea 4-2 Mexico, explored and presented other specific artistic languages. Everything what happens through the sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, can lead people to experience unique acts of awareness; hence, art is interconnected to sensations and emotions that can interweave the individual with the state of being.
